Business Development Manager, Government & Healthcare – Asia Pacific

Experienced Industry Professional with Asia Pacific exposure to be based in one of AP offices (Singapore, Korea, Hong Kong or Japan.) 

The person needs to lead, drive and manage the growth of technologies and solutions to the government/healthcare industry by ensuring that local offices are equipped to correctly position, promote and sell the solutions, and building effective regional and local country sales support for these solutions.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Develop & Generate New Business

• With offices, grow business and market share in the Government/Healthcare Industry

• Drive the marketing/promotion and sales support of all strategic Government/Healthcare business across Asia Pacific

Develop Solution Strategy and Sales Support

• Develop and implement rollout plans for new initiatives or product releases, taking local market differences, and localised product availability into account

• Support local offices in marketing & sales activities for the Government/Healthcare Industry

Knowledge Sharing

• Continually improve the abilities of the local office to sell to the Government/Healthcare Industry by facilitating the sharing and transfer of knowledge around technologies and solutions to the industry

Build Relationships 

• Build a relationship as trusted advisor to Country Managers

• Build relationships with global/worldwide counterparts

To qualify, you need to have:

• MBA or Degree in a business discipline

• 10 years or more of working experience in a business development and/or consultancy role specifically for the Government/Healthcare Industry 

• Depth in industry domain experience, particularly around Healthcare, is essential

• Leading a similar practice in a vendor or management consultancy organization is  a plus
